I'm done with being governed by you.
I've let you determine my identity and the opportunities suitable for me.
I'm through with this partnership that I've permitted, because now you've taken over and people see more of you than me.
This is never how God intended it to be.
You've made me focus on my limitations as opposed to the liberation God has granted me.
You've made me misplace my trust and believe in your existence over the power of God.
I'm through with living a life of 'what ifs' and being scared to branch out and take risks.
You've confused my nature, led me to question my own behaviour and told me to misplace my sense of security and believe in my inferiority.
I am no longer a slave to you, so now I question why I ever let you govern me, when you manifest in the things unseen, the things unknown, the things yet to come.
So to you, I choose not to succumb.
'Cos God's Word is made manifest in my 'now' and He's declared victory over you...
So fear, You have no place in my life.
I am gracefully purchased by the blood of Christ, meaning you're already defeated through His sacrifice.
